Configuring show details

Venue and timing

For each show, you can set:

  • Venue: Where the show takes place

  • Show time: When the show starts

  • House open time: When the audience can enter

  • Duration: Total show length (inherited from show type)

Spots configuration

Your show will inherit spots from the show type template, including:

  • Number of spots

  • Spot roles (Host, Act, Production)

  • Performance lengths

  • Fees

  • Call times

You can customize spots for individual shows after creation. Learn more about filling spots and extending offers.

Managing show time between acts

When configuring your show, you can set the buffer time between performances:

  1. Look for Time between acts in show settings

  2. Set the duration (e.g., 3 minutes for introductions and transitions)

  3. This affects the overall show timeline and call time calculations

  2. Navigate to the Tickets tab

  3. Enter the number of tickets sold

  4. Enter the ticket price

  5. The system calculates total revenue automatically

Ticket data entry is manual. If you use a ticketing platform, you'll need to transfer the numbers manually or explore integration options.

Deleting shows

To remove a show:

  1. Navigate to the show you want to delete

  2. Click the delete button

  3. Enter the confirmation code when prompted

  4. The show and all its spots are permanently removed

Deleting a show cannot be undone. If acts have already been booked, notify them before deletion.

Archiving vs. deleting

For shows that have already happened:

  • Keep them: Useful for historical records and settlements

  • Archive surveys: You can archive related surveys to declutter your active list without losing show data

  • Delete only if necessary: Only delete shows that were created by mistake or cancelled before any bookings
