Red61 Ticket Data
This guide walks you through connecting Red61's ticket sales data to Confirmed. Once configured, your ticket sales will automatically sync every 15 minutes, making it easy to track performance across your shows.
This setup requires administrative access to both Red61 and Confirmed. The entire process takes about 10-15 minutes.
Video walkthrough of the complete setup process. Set to 720p or higher for better clarity.
Step 0: Sell Some Tickets First
Before setting up the export, make sure you have at least one ticket sold in Red61. The system needs actual sales data to generate the reports and test your mapping configuration.
Step 1: Create a Ticket Source in Confirmed
In Confirmed's main menu, click Additional Settings → Ticket Data Import
Click Add New Source
Give your source a recognizable name, such as "Show Name - Festival Year" or "Red61 Edinburgh Fringe 2024"
Keep this tab open—you'll need to copy the generated email address in Step 2
If you don't see the Ticket Data Import menu option, contact [email protected] to enable it for your account.
Step 2: Set Up Scheduled Reports in Red61
Create the Report
In Red61's left-side menu, click New Report
Look for the report type called "Full Sales Breakdown" (the exact name may vary depending on your festival)
Scroll down and click Save for Later
When prompted for a name, enter something like "Tickets for Confirmed" so you can identify it later
Schedule Automatic Delivery
Click Schedule Saved Reports, then click the green New Schedule button
Select the report you just created
Configure the schedule:
Start time/date: You can ignore this field
End date: Set this to about a week after your festival ends
Schedule Runtime section:
Start time:
00:00End time: Leave empty
Run Time Interval:
15 minutes
In the Send To section:
Email address: Switch back to your Confirmed tab and copy the generated email address
Format: Select
Comma separated values
Click Add Schedule
The Red61 scheduler isn't exact. Check the "Last Run" column in the Schedule Saved Reports tab to verify it's actually running.
Step 3: Configure Column Mapping
Download a Sample Report
In Red61, go to Saved Reports
Find the row with your Confirmed report
Click on the PDF dropdown (it doesn't look like a dropdown, but it is)
Switch to Comma Separated Values
Click the download icon to save the CSV file
Upload and Map Fields
Return to the Confirmed tab
Click Upload Sample CSV Report to Edit Mapping
Select the file you just downloaded
Map the columns to Confirmed fields. Each dropdown shows the field name on the left and a sample value from your CSV on the right:
Show name: Usually maps to
event_titleDate and time: Most often maps to
perf_dateTickets sold: Try
sold_count_incl_ca(this typically includes comps)Ticket type: Use
concession_codeto distinguish between ticket typesVenue and Room: Leave these empty unless you have multiple shows happening simultaneously
Save your configuration
If you do specify Venue or Room, make sure the names exactly match what you have in your Venues tab in Confirmed.
Shows are matched by date and time, so verify that the Red61 date/time format matches what you have configured in Confirmed.
Step 4: Verify Data Flow
You're all set! If everything is configured correctly, ticket data should start appearing in Confirmed within 30 minutes or so.
To verify the setup is working:
Check the "Last Run" column in Red61's Schedule Saved Reports tab to confirm the report has executed
Wait a few minutes for the email to process
Check your ticket data in Confirmed
If the report has run but tickets aren't showing up in Confirmed after an hour or so, contact us and we'll investigate.
